Our Story

Coolum Beach Meals on Wheels is an innovative organisation with a proud history. We have been providing meals to the local Sunshine coast community since 1982.

The first delivery was of eight meals, with the number quickly growing to approximately twenty five meals delivered three times a week. In the beginning the meals were prepared and cooked by volunteers at the Coolum Beach

Uniting Church using favourite home recipes and were delivered to Coolum Beach, Yaroomba, Bli Bli and Valdora.

When a more permanent arrangement was needed, the founders successfully applied for funding and held local fundraising events which enabled the building of Coolum Beach Meals on Wheels in Santa Monica Ave where we are today.

What we believe

There should be a magic moment in everyone’s day. A small celebration of what life has to offer.

A real meal – something to look forward to and enjoy. Not just food for fuel or purely necessary nutrition. Fresh and full of flavour. Food that looks appealing. That exceeds the expectation – brought directly to you at your home.

Coolum Beach Meals on Wheels – Celebrating food daily.
