Eating tempting and tasty food is an essential component in people staying healthy and independent. There’s a lot of evidence to show that eating well and regularly is a great way to prevent health issues.
However, it doesn’t have to be bland and unexciting.
A real meal is something to look forward to, so our delicious meals are delivered every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to you with a smile by friendly Meals on Wheels volunteers.
Main meals can be delivered hot ready to eat, or chilled so they can be warmed up to eat later.
Frozen meals are also available from our extensive menu.
Clients have a choice of meals
Your healthy, flavour filled meal provides what is regarded by nutritional experts as a little over a third (1/3) of your daily nutrition and energy requirements. It’s therefore essential to remember that other meals and snacks are eaten during the day as well.
We appreciate that some people like to use Meals on Wheels meal as a “base” for their daily requirements.
